Description

Badrinath, located in Uttarakhand, is a major Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It's part of the Char Dham Yatra and lies at an altitude of 3,133 meters in the Himalayas. The main attraction is the Badrinath Temple, surrounded by stunning mountain landscapes. Pilgrims also visit the Tapt Kund hot springs to purify themselves before entering the temple. Accessible mainly from May to October, it’s known for its spiritual significance and serene natural beauty. Nearby, you’ll find Mana Village and other sacred spots.

Itinerary

Start your journey early from Haridwar. The distance between Haridwar and Badrinath is approximately 320 km and can take around 10-12 hours by road, depending on the road conditions. Arrive in Badrinath by evening. Check-in and over night stay to hotel or guest house.

Early morning, visit Badrinath Temple for darshan and take a dip in Tapt Kund. Then, head to Mana Village (3 km away) to explore Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Bhavishya Badri. You can also visit Panch Shila temples and Mata Murti Temple. Return to your hotel for the night.

Check out of your hotel and begin your journey back to Haridwar. The return trip will take around 10-12 hours, so ensure you have enough time for breaks. Arrive back in Haridwar by evening and conclude your trip.
